Blue Moons

Earrings like this come along once in a blue moon. Artisan Natasha Justice combines ceramics, printmaking and jewelry design to produce these sublime half-moon "swings." The artist gave a fragment of a broken necklace new life by imprinting it on half-moons of earthenware, fired in a luminous turquoise glaze and suspended from antiqued sterling silver chain. The fan-like forms invoke a fascinating range of influences, from Victorian to Native American. They're distinctive, yet classic enough to pair with any wardrobe. Handmade in the USA.

Unfortunately, this item cannot ship outside of the United States at this time.

Natasha Justice

Natasha has been making jewelry since she was a young girl. In 2002 she tried her hand at lamp working, and creating her own glass beads. In 2009 she did an independent study with a local pottery artist brushing up on her hand building skills. She made some ceramic pendants that she paired with gemstone beads. And now a majority of her work is hand crafted ceramic pieces that she sometimes pairs with different metals and leather.

Her passion is to design and create earthy and distinctive wearable works of art. She puts creativity and detail into each hand crafted ceramic piece used in her jewelry. Each clay piece maintains its own individuality through the glazing and firing process, enabling every customer to receive a one of a kind piece of work.
