Golden Blossoms

These brilliant earrings won't just catch the light--they'll have you carrying some of your own sunshine with you wherever you go. Inspired by the flowers sprouting up in her own garden, artist Eileen Baumeister McIntyre captures the flowing form of these head-turning sunflowers by hand-carving a wax mold, which she uses to cast the dangling pendants from solid sterling silver. She then gives them each a burst of brilliant sunshine by gold plating the petals. The earrings are mounted on sterling silver hardware. Like a Van Gogh painting that blossomed into three-dimensional life, these earrings are a precious, wearable work of art that will light up your favorite look. Handmade in Long Island, New York.

Eileen Baumeister McIntyre

I have an extensive organic garden that is both serene and stimulating. I find it peaceful to work in the garden and can be found outside among the flowers, vegetables, herbs and weeds with my sketchbook throughout the growing season. My drawings and paintings have always had a botanical theme which has evolved into the Garden of Silver jewelry line. Many of the jewelry pieces are created by hand carving into wax and then cast into sterling silver. I also etch and emboss the metals to create texture and relief and utilize traditional metalworking techniques as well. collection
