Eileen Baumeister McIntyre
Eileen Baumeister McIntyre finds inspiration in the Atlantic Ocean crashing outside her Long Island studio and her extensive organic garden. Working in the garden among the flowers, vegetables, herbs, and weeds, she takes time to fill her sketchbook throughout the growing season. Her drawings and paintings have always had nature-inspired themes, which eventually evolved into her lush jewelry collection. Many of her pieces are created by hand-carving into wax and then cast into sterling silver. Eileen also etches and embosses the metals to create texture and relief and utilize traditional metalworking techniques.
