For Your Family Tree

Root your home in faith and family with a hand-fused tree of life mezuzah designed by the late Tamara Baskin. Simple yet stunning, this deeply symbolic imagery is lovingly made from hand-cut layers of colored glass that are artfully arranged and kiln-fired into a one-of-a-kind mezuzah. A gorgeous gift for newlyweds or friends and family settling into a new home, this modern spin on the traditional fixture is made to ground any doorway with a beautiful blessing. Affix one to the doorpost of your home according to Jewish tradition. Paper scroll included. Tamara's art lives on through her family, who continues her handmade glasswork in Florida.

Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Tamara Baskin

Born and raised in Israel, Tamara Baskin began her career in art after moving to the United States.

A self-taught artist with more than twenty years experience working in several media, she spent the last years of her life working with fused glass--with emphasis in creating elegant yet functional designs to celebrated Jewish life.

Her work has been featured in American Style, Niche magazine, the New York Times Best of Season issue, Boca magazine and many other local media. Her American Flag Menorah is on display in the White House, and her Israeli Flag Menorah was a gift to former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Tamara passed away in 2007, but her family continues to preserve her memory through carrying on her art. collection
