Tis The Season

Every season brings its own unique beauty: summer sizzles with long, sun-drenched days punctuated by beach trips and bonfires; autumn sets nature aflame with the fiery hues of foliage in flux; winter welcomes quiet evenings hushed under blankets of pristine snow; verdant spring is a time of rebirth and renewal.

Catherine Weitzman celebrates the spectacle of the changing seasons with this series of gorgeous necklaces. 18 karat gold vermeil or sterling silver chains suspend symbols of each passing season, including silvery leaves for spring, shell, starfish, and sand dollar medallions for summer, acorns for autumn, and pinecones for winter. Carry the spirit of your favorite season with you always, honor a loved one's birth month, or collect all four to refresh your look as nature changes hers. Handmade in Hawaii.

Catherine Weitzman

Catherine Weitzman has been creating her signature line of silver, gold and glass jewelry for the past six years. Her inspiration emerges from her own innate sense of organic stye, her love and respect for the ocean and her extensive world travels. It was during these travels that Catherine started honing her design skills, and had the good fortune to study hand-in-hand with traditional artisans from many of the exotic locales that, for periods of time, became home. In addition to apprenticing with metalsmiths at the Scuola Lorenzo di Medici in Florence, this group of mentors included the silversmiths of the Sahara, bamboo whittlers from Indonesia and the creators of precious metal clay in Tokyo.

Drawing equally from each of these experiences, Catherine developed her own unique process and style of glass fabrication. She designs much of the work with her husband, Scott Diamond, and is blessed to produce the jewelry with an extremely gifted handmade production team in their California and Hawaii studios.

Catherine and Scott design with a sense of fun and a love of life. Their aim is to share this with each individual who sees the jewelry, wears it, and makes it her own. collection
