These Fortune Teller Napkins remind us of the good ol' days of Jr. High School (with a classy twist!). Would you use this clever blast from the past to tell the future at your next dinner party?

Love this! But it's a tad pricey.

Heather

I love this idea. Among other things, these would make a perfect hostess gift. Very unique; very creative, and a definite converstion starter. I will be disappointed if these aren't available for sale !

Eileen

I think these would be fun!

susan
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like the product but wouldn't pay $24 for two. I would pay $15 at the most.

Kristen
Vote: Thumbs down!

dumb.

Joni

adorable.. but too expensive..

Andrea
Vote: Thumbs up!

What a fun hostess gift!

Lisa
Vote: Thumbs down!

I think this is so cute, but the price point isn't right for a set of two. I would buy this product if it was $24 for a set of 4 (better for having friends over for dinner).

HELEN
Vote: Thumbs up!

These are definitely fun but I think you should say up front that they are not paper. I was thinking for paper they were pricey but not for cotton.

Jessie
Vote: Thumbs up!

Everything Lea does is amazing!

Tracy

1. Juvenile and not in a fun way2. Seriously?? 24 dollars for 2 napkins???

Michelle
Vote: Thumbs up!

fun gift. wish it was set of 4

Morgan
Vote: Thumbs up!

These would be so great for a happy hour or cocktail party!

Mallory
Vote: Thumbs down!

It would be better if it was a price for 4. And I think these would work best in a household with children instead of any home.

Candi
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like it but, in my opinion, overpriced. Would you consider offerring as a set of 4 for $30 or $35?

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs up!

the kids will love this!

liz
Vote: Thumbs up!

These would be fantastic conversation starters at a party during cocktails.

Laura

I have no idea what the official name for these are but we used to call them Cootie Catchers, can't imagine wiping my mouth on one.

NM
Vote: Thumbs up!

I think this is fantastic, but a tad pricey for just 2 napkins. And why organic cotton from India... can't we get that in the USA?

Ginger
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love these - what fun for a dinner party!

Lisa
Vote: Thumbs up!

I love conversation-starters like this when I'm entertaining!

Audrey
Vote: Thumbs up!

Very kitschy! A bit pricey. Would pay $24 for a set of 4.

Julie

Thumbs up on the idea, but thumbs down on the cost with a dinner party for 12, I'm not going to spend $144 on napkins. For the cost it should be more romance based

Mary
Vote: Thumbs down!

My church will not allow me to participate in witchcraft which is what fortune telling is.

Vicki

Very cute for dinner conversation.

janine
Vote: Thumbs down!

great idea, brings back memories but the cost for TWO

Joy
Vote: Thumbs up!

Needs to be for a set of four.

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs down!

Very cute but that is really expensive for just 2 napkins.

Cynthia
Vote: Thumbs down!

Cute idea, but what's the point if you're going to use it as a napkin??

Matthew
Vote: Thumbs up!

i would definately buy this but i think it is too expensive

Jan
Vote: Thumbs down!

These would be so much fun and bring back fun memories, but I would not spend $24 for napkins--especially if I have to iron them!

Cassie, UncommonGoods Community Moderator

Thanks for the question, Cynthia! These are cloth napkins, so you can use them as entertainment while you're waiting for dinner to be served, then use them as napkins during and after the meal. They are machine washable, and come with instructions for refolding, so you can use them again and again.

Lori

Absolutely! LOVE IT

ciara
Vote: Thumbs up!

I loooove these, me and my friends go crazy making these at school so reusable ones are awesooooooome. I liked the idea someone suggested about fabric pens and these aren't like the fortune tellers I normally pal, they're more advice-tellers.

Tanya

This is a great nostalgic item. I would love to have this for a dinner party.

kay
Vote: Thumbs up!

cute starting point for napkin ideas...

Paula

silliness

Michele
Vote: Thumbs up!

I like these but they are a little expensive so not sure I would actually buy them

Shannon
Vote: Thumbs up!

Very clever and the type of fun item I expect to see at Uncommon Goods. I probably wouldn't buy at that price though. $24 for a set of four would be better.

Pam
Vote: Thumbs down!

not practicle

Jeannie
Vote: Thumbs down!

LOVE the idea -- used to play this as a kid, but these are too expensive for 2. Make them out of paper and sell them in a quantity -- everyone wants to play

Maranda
Vote: Thumbs down!

The price point would be better suited for 4 napkins. Beyond that, it just isn't my style though I can see it appealing to some markets.

Tess
Vote: Thumbs up!

Fun, though maybe a little expensive for just 2...

raheim
Vote: Thumbs down!

For the price, I could make my own out of paper. If there was a way of creating my own fortune (by writing on a washable section), that would be great.

Jan
Vote: Thumbs up!

Adorable, but a little pricey....I think you should get 4 for this price....

T
Vote: Thumbs up!

Fun conversation piece for entertaining

Jean
Vote: Thumbs down!

You have to have at least 4 napkins and that would be $48 . . . too much . . .

jennifer
Vote: Thumbs up!

Very cute idea, but i would be more likely to buy if the price was 4/$24 or 4/$28. 2 doesn't seem like enough,

Kelly
Vote: Thumbs up!

Price is too hight, but I do like this product. Appears to be a great conversation starter.

Liane
Vote: Thumbs up!

I love them and I'd definitely buy some.

Karen
Vote: Thumbs up!

Reminds me of the paper version we used to make.

Justine
Vote: Thumbs up!

This looks like such a fun item to have at your table. Especially if you have kids to keep preoccupied.

William
Vote: Thumbs up!

A clever gift item that would probably hold appeal for many.

Elizabeth
Vote: Thumbs down!

Really cute, but $24 for two napkins?

Rozann
Vote: Thumbs up!

a bit too pricey

Natalie
Vote: Thumbs up!

These are a super unique idea and something that would be a lot of fun. I would buy a set!

Janet
Vote: Thumbs down!

way too much who would buy something like that for that much money

Marilyn
Vote: Thumbs up!

FUN!

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs up!

Such a fun, unique idea!

Judy
Vote: Thumbs up!

What a fun conversation starter at a party. They bring back lots of memories. I don't like the serged edge. It looks so unfinished for a $12. napkin.

angela
Vote: Thumbs up!

these are awesome

deedee
Vote: Thumbs up!

set of 4 would be nice!

Terry
Vote: Thumbs up!

Very cute and good for someone who has everything, including a person to iron them!

Barbara

Very clever! They bring me back to my childhood...as well as a wonderful way to get the dinner conversation started! A definite winner! When can I purchase?

The Charm of the game is to make it yourself, however could make for a fun when we were kids themed dinner party and this is over prices,

savannah
Vote: Thumbs up!

cute!

Lisa
Vote: Thumbs up!

Thumbs up because it brings back memories. Wish there was a thumbs in the middle...pricey for 2. Priced right for 4.

jamie
Vote: Thumbs down!

Brings back memories of grammar school -- but seeing as these can be made with notebook paper for less than $24, I find these impractical. Like someone else said, these are only worth about $6 a piece.

Karen
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love this! Great idea to make the kids game more upscale for a fun dinner party. Not a bad price for a set of 2, but would be easier to sell at $19, since most people would like 4 or more.

Alexis
Vote: Thumbs down!

i feel like the novelty would wear off quick.

Michelle
Vote: Thumbs down!

I was excited until I saw this has little to do with the game I played as a kid. Just ridiculous.

Alexis
Vote: Thumbs down!

I really like the idea, but would never pay 24 dollars for this, I can draw/make this at home for .02

Kelly
Vote: Thumbs up!

I love these! I make these with my niece all the time. Not crazy about the pictures on the outside (tape dispenser, shoe, etc) but it's cute! Is it a set of four?

Christine
Vote: Thumbs down!

four of them for $24.00 maybe.......

Cassie, UncommonGoods Community Moderator

Thanks for the question, Kelly. The price is for a set of two napkins.

Pam
Vote: Thumbs up!

a fun thing!

Deborah
Vote: Thumbs up!

We call these cootie catchers-lots of fun, take to restaurant to keep kids occupied for hours.

june
Vote: Thumbs up!

very cool but I do see the instructions being lost after only a couple of uses. need to be a permanent part of napkin

Kristi
Vote: Thumbs down!

Way cute, but no way would I spend $24 for 2 napkins!

Brittany
Vote: Thumbs up!

How unique, what a great conversation starter!

Di
Vote: Thumbs up!

Cute, but pricey!

lisa
Vote: Thumbs up!

would like to see 4 for 24, 2 for 24 is pretty pricey

Christina
Vote: Thumbs up!

i would buy this lol

Danielle
Vote: Thumbs up!

These are so cute for a dinner party

Jenn

Like this and a fun way to also help keep kids entertained in a restaurant until their food arrives.
