Michael Bellino
Michael Bellino started making SkiChairs back in 1993 after purchasing a house on a lake and building an enormous dock that needed furniture.
Looking for an alternative to plastic patio furniture, he found inspiration in O'Neils Bike and Ski Shop, which he managed. Two weeks and two prototypes later, he created the first SkiChair with his old racing and bump skis. Michael says he's still sitting in that original chair today! See all creations.

Michael Bellino's Floating Ski Wine Bottle Rack is a great way to show off your favorite wine--and your hobby if you love to hit the slopes! We love that this piece is handmade by repurposing an actual ski. What's your favorite thing about this design?

clever but not a good way to store wine

Not really my style, but I can see a niche for this product. I also appreciate that it is made in the USA of recycled material.

unattractive and unnecessary. wine racks are usually for several bottles - who has just one?

great for rentals or winter cabins

I love the idea of recycling but this seems a bit to impractical for me.

For someone living in a tight space, too much storage space occupied for one bottle.

It's a nifty idea, but only if it were for more than just one bottle. It just doesn't make much sense to only store one bottle, because most people have more than one bottle and therefore would need more storage along with this.

It uses too much counter-space to store one bottle of wine.

Sorry, just don't see any real need for this. And, I agree with others - who has the counter space? I wouldn't buy.

I don't see an estimated price. But I don't have room in my kitchen to artistically display a single bottle of wine.

I'm not finding prices in the description.

What a unique idea! Great way to re-use a product. This will be a great sell with snow sports fans.

I don't drink, so it doesn't really apply to me.

I like the fact of using old skis but I don't get these types of wine bottle holders...I just have to ask, why?
Teresa
Vote: Thumbs down!
not practical.
Pam
Vote: Thumbs down!
Just not sure how steady this would be. Doesn't seem very practical or realistic.

How many people actually have a "prized" bottle of wine.lol

Clever and would be nice on a table when sharing food and wine with friends

It's an awkward way to display wine and it only holding one bottle makes it a complete waste of space. I don't ski, so that makes it even less appealing.
