Have a Ball!
Be prepared for on-the-fly shopping excursions with a bag that scrunches up to be stowed in your messenger bag or purse along with all your other essentials. Created by Stanford University product design students Hetal Jariwala and Eva Bauer, the bag was designed to solve every eco-conscious shopper's biggest blunder--forgetting his or her reusable shopping bag. After surveying friends and family members about their shopping habits, the team designed an eye-catching reusable sack whose patent pending stretchy pouch make it cinch to go from ball to bag in seconds flat.
The palm-sized stretchy ball unfurls into a roomy shopping bag made of sturdy machine-washable nylon. Made to transport up to 25 pounds of produce or other provisions, the sack’s felt-padded shoulder straps add a soft touch and keep the goods from slipping off your shoulder. This tough little take-along bag folds like a pair of socks into a peach-sized ball in just a few seconds so you can bag it before you head out. Made in China. Sold individually.

This creative design is a fun (and useful) update on the reusable bag. We love how the nylon tote scrunches into the stretchy attached pouch that fits in your pocket, purse, or messenger bag. The felt pad on the shoulder strap is a nice touch, too! Would take one of these bouncing balls--er bags--on the go?

having several reusable shopping bags I appreciate the padded shoulder strap feature. even better it folds into itself! a few that I own you have to carefully fold up so that it will fit into the little snap strap. annoying...

I LOVE THIS! The crushable small size, 25 lb. capacity and felt-padded shoulder straps are fabulous. The only tithing that I would add would be a small loop and a carabiner to attach to a belt loop or zipper pull. Also would want an American-made item.

Cushioned strap, pocket, and easy to roll up-all nice. I can't see the price, but if it was over $10 I would not pay it. And I have seen this concept elsewhere too.
