Uncharted Territory

Chart your own on course with this delightful terrarium, housed inside a glass apothecary jar. This pint-sized living sculpture features a miniature bicyclist riding through lush landscape towards a sandy beach. Brooklyn artists Michelle Inciarrano and Katy Maslow create microcosms of natural splendor using river stones, mosses, colorful flora, and proprietary soil. Add or remove river stones to change up your beach scene and mist every two to four weeks to keep the verdure plentiful. Handmade in Brooklyn.

Michelle Inciarrano & Katy Maslow

Twig Terrariums is a verdant venture, located in Brooklyn, New York, and sprung from the minds of two old friends, Michelle Inciarrano and Katy Maslow. We specialize in creating moss terrariums and other small worlds in antique, vintage, and new glass containers, apothecary jars, science glass, kitchenware, and any odd glass objects we find on our travels.

Each Twig Terrarium contains a very special scene using miniature figurines to complete your little green landscape; from idyllic pastoral scenes with cows and horses to angry punk rockers and Central Park.

Take a studio tour and see where Michelle and Katy bring their miniature nature scenes to life!

cool. I would buy this for the right price.

I think they make great gifts. I'm not sure how long they live though?

Love the little people! Takes me back to dollhouse days when I could imagine myself in those pretty rooms.
