It's a well-known, botanical fact that Homo sapiens are unable to feel crabby while gazing upon smiley face flowers. Cottages made of pine cones have a similar effect. If either one of these happens to be part of a cute, cozy birdhouse, all memory of bad moods past and present just might be erased from the mind.

Hang them indoors and enjoy their cheeriness for years, or outdoors, where they'll make a sweet pad for some lucky birds. The 1.25" opening can accommodate chickadees, titmice, and bluebirds, or can be enlarged for larger species. Designed for year-round outdoor use, they should maintain their structure for at least one year. Sold separately.

Felted wool is naturally water repellent, and if it becomes soaked by rain, it will dry if left in open air and partial sun. Colors may begin to fade if left in direct sunlight for more than two months. Created by skilled, fair trade artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal, from hand-felted wool and hand-dyed woolen yarns.

• Brush lightly to remove surface dirt, or gently hand wash with soap and cool water if desired. Do not put in washing machine or dryer. To re-shape, if needed, soak in water, reshape and dry in sun. Effects from animal use will vary. Recommended to keep away from squirrels.
