Birds of a Feather

Is your youngest the picture of grace? Does your oldest always hold steady? Artist Christine Street's hand-drawn, reclaimed sterling silver feather pendants blend custom touches and delicate design, allowing proud mothers and grandmothers to artfully show off their flock. Personalize each feather with your child's name in the style that best reflects the spirit of their personality: Wispy (pictured: Maeve), Graceful (pictured: Madeline), or Steady (pictured: James). The 30" length gold fill chain holds up to three feathers, and names can include up to 12 characters. Designed by Christine Street in California.

“My last two collections were made in long overnights because I could not stop.”

All of Christine Street’s pieces–which possess a “playful spirit” and frequently feature uplifting iconography–are handmade in her solar-powered studio in Los Angeles using recycled metals. Though it can take her a while to settle on a concept that moves her, Christine says she is able to enter a “magical” phase of activity once inspiration strikes: “My last two collections were made in long overnights because I could not stop.”
