Rebekka Ferbrache is a life-long artist who discovered her love of ceramics while attending college. Graduating in 2004 from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Studio Art, focusing on Ceramics and Industrial Design, she has been creating with clay ever since. Her desire is to make items that have beauty as well as function. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, where she makes her home just north of Seattle, many of her designs draw upon these influences.
Wood You Be Mine?
This personalized vase offers the romance of natural beauty blended with man-made craftsmanship. Ceramicist Rebekka Ferbrache uses natural porcelain to form the vase, giving it an impressed, woodgrain texture that she accents with a mottled black glaze. Ferbrache hand-glazes a ceramic heart with your choice of initials, and then applies to the surface of the vase. It's a beautiful setting for a fresh bouquet, or even displayed on its own. Makes a great gift for newlyweds, those who've already shared years together, or even your own special someone. Handmade in Kenmore, Washington.
Exclusively at UncommonGoods.
