A beautiful serving platter for special family dinners, this generously sized piece features the heartfelt, laser-etched phrase "All families have branches. Ours has roots." Lush green is then hand-screened onto the pre-consumer/post-industrial recycled glass and, to finish, it's fired and sandblasted for texture and a frosted look. Tree and engraving design appear clear on a green background. Designed by Cassandra Ott. Handcrafted in Pennsylvania.

Cassandra Ott
Like many children, Cassandra loved to create spirited works of art. She was fortunate to have parents who were also artistically inclined, and recognized this as more than just a passing phase, but a real talent. Cassandra took art and drawing classes with her father, and found unfailing support from her mother. And now, she has the pleasure of working with them as part of the family business. The Riverside Design Group is committed not only to making unique, artistic tableware, but also to being environmentally sensitive and giving back to their community. Cassandra developed her keen eye while studying photography at the University of Cincinnati, and now her designs have graced tables from the Getty Museum Cafe to everyday homes. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband, son, and Hopper the cat. See all creations.
