Harry Leaf

San Francisco law student-turned-sculptor Harry Leaf earned his law degree in 1989 before asking himself "what was I thinking?" Leaf soon redirected his path to pursue his true passions: painting and sculpting.

Leaf sculpts touching and curious forms that inspire and delight, like his original Bunny On Couch sculptures, made to bring everyday art and humor into the lives of art lovers.

Leaf's glazing and design techniques have evolved over the years to include a variety of colored clay, finishes and firing temperatures--spinning new and unusual textures for exceptional new pieces.

Leaf's ceramics have been displayed in shops and galleries across the country and in the homes of collectors around the world. He hand-crafts and hand-glazes each piece in his San Francisco studio. collection

    Comments about Elephant Wall Vases:

My Goddaughter collects and loves elephants and now that she is out on her own, I thought this would be a wonderful wall hanging for her apartment. Also, a remineder of her super Godmother. Very cute....

I like elephants, but I wouldn't want these hanging on my wall.

I feel compelled to defend the Elephants!I can visualize an elaborate little bouquet that would appear as a "Sunday Bonnet" and make these VERY endearing. The serious Cala Lily does not do these charming creations any justice...just sayin.

I love elephants, but these are ugly. And, pricey! They look a bit, um, like something that is usually covered -- at least in mixed company.

    i think they're cute(:

Although I think these are quite cute, I think the price is a bit high, especially considering they're simple slab constructions and appear to be colored slip with clear glaze, which is fairly cheap. I enjoy how they're looking to the side...kind of shifty. I would pay $48.

Cute, but not worth the money

They're cute but too expensive. maybe in the $20-$35 range it'd be okay.

They're cute, but I could help my 3 year old cousin make something like them as an arts and crafts project and it would cheaper and more fun.

    creepy

They're cute, but they're the type of thing I would see in a store and say, "I could make that." I might pay $20 for one. I just can't imagine it taking the artist very long to crank a dozen of these out, so I can't justify that price.

Adorable, but it's the sort of thing I'd expect to see a kid bring home from art class.

Cute. But I could make those myself for a lot cheaper.

I don't find them cute, pretty unattractive really. I wouldn't pay that much for a wall vase by itself, let alone an ugly one.
