These organic art supplies were created by parents with the safety of their kids in mind. The crayons are made from natural and organic fruits and veggies, while the pad is made of recycled fibers and printed with soy inks. Do you know a little artist who would love to get creative with this colorful set?

Love it! What a great idea.

Love products that are trying to get the bad chemicals out of things. Especially in products designed for our tiniest folks.

Made in the U.S. and sounds safe for kids, so it's a positive vote from me.

I am so weary of things marketed as "green" when they are anything but. True "Green" is about trade-offs of costs and benefits, remembering to factor "earth damage" into the "costs" of producing a product. I can't imagine the costs these product creators incurred to make paper and crayons that are better than those already available. No offense intended, but this "I'm so green" mantra makes me ill.

Cute idea, but this seems a bit more 'trendy' than practical. A toddler would use this set up in a flash and an older child would be frustrated by the lack of structure in the crayons (for more detailed pictures). Unless this was priced very, very low I would not consider it.

the only thing i have concerns about is that the child might swallow the crayons.

my kids would try to eat those crayons

You can never have too many things around to keep a bored 2 year old busy. I'm for anything that will take up time and allow for a few moments of peace and quiet. Wait, we already have too much artistic expression in our society; we need some kids that can think. Isn't there something artistic they could do and at the same time increase their ability to think?
