Bex Ames and Elissa Stanton
Bex and Elissa are Brooklyn based-crafters who are committed to spreading DIY. Bex started making bitters because she couldn’t afford the bitters required for her bourgeoning cocktail making hobby. She would go to classes and be inspired by the way a specific type of bitter could save an otherwise one-note cocktail. But when she went around buying all the ingredients to make bitters, it wound up costing as much as a nice bottle of commercial bitters and she was only using teaspoons! With so much leftover spice and so many of her friends marveling at her bitters, she and Elissa started putting together little spice packets for them to infuse. Those packets became the Make Your Own Bitters Kit.

- Interesting Gift
- Poor Packaging
Comments about DIY COCKTAIL BITTERS KIT:
Overall happy with this, and my fiancee was as well. However, this arrived with a very crushed box - the product itself wasn't damaged, but it was in very poor shape to give as a gift. If I hadn't been giving to my fiancee (who knows it wasn't regifted, etc), I would have thought twice about giving it due to the low quality packaging. Would recommend for personal use and not as a gift.
