These rubber organizers will help you bounce back from an unorganized desk! Would you keep this desktop trio in your office?

$35 for a cup sized recycled piece of rubber?

Is this $35 for a set of three?
Julia, Community Organizer
Great feedback! These do come as a set of three, and are handmade in Wisconsin. As for flimsy, they might have some give, but remember they're made from sturdy recycled tires.

Oh, ok. For a set of three that's a good price for a recycled item. They are cuter when you zoom in. I like them.

Not a bad price if for all three. Just wondering if they have an overwhelming smell of rubber. That would be a big problem.

Good looking, eco-friendly, great idea to help people with disabilities.
Casey

Love the idea. I'm afraid they'd tip over easily.

My only concern would be the black that comes off from the tire material. Are they sealed or coated so the black doesn't wear off?

it looks like it will tip over easily.

Fair concerns, Jessica and Casey. Each basket in the nesting trio is lined with an extra layer of tire along the bottom to increase its stability.

They look cheap and ugly

I just can't imagine what office decor would be enhanced by the addition of these organizers. I love that the materials are recycled - and I REALLY love that they are made by disabled folk. Unfortunately, I just don't like them.

I support the concept of repurposing products but these look unsteady and I would be concerned that they would smell like tires.
Jessica
Vote: Thumbs down!
I'm not sure they would work well for me.

Maybe for a tire store or garage? It's a great idea, and a good cause, they are just not esthetically pleasing.

boy are the comments rough. This are very interesting and on your desk would be something to start conversations with. Then they are made in AMERICA and by people who probably enjoy their work! I would love to tell people where they could get one just like it!

I like how it is recycled, and it's a good set for a husband or dad. However, it's too expensive. I would pay $15.

They do not look like they would stay upright--are they weighted in some way?
Cassie, UncommonGoods Community Moderator
Thanks for the question, Melanie! These one-of-a-kind baskets are made of sturdy recycled tires and feature an extra layer of tire material lining the bottom to increase stability.
