Do you have a date with some delicious leftovers? These clever markers help you make sure you're not too late. Do they have your vote?

looks useful and reasonable

Would like the month/day a little larger for easy viewing.

Wierd. How do you use a suction cup on a baggie? Or foil? I can see it might work on a plastic container but that's a big maybe - most suction cups don't work when cold....

Kay
Vote: Thumbs down!

I agree with Susan - won't work on foil or baggies (which I write the date on anyway)

Christine
Vote: Thumbs down!

No to made in China.

These are really clever

Olga

I'm with Christine, NO to MADE IN CHINA.

Great idea for reusable containers!

I need this.

Samantha

Not sure it would stick to everything

Don't understand it. Too much effort.

another item to clutter drawer

Cynthia

Wouldn't get used at our house.

Interesting, good price. I would want to hear more about the suction cup and how well it attaches to containers.

Glad you like the Date Dots, Kelly! The suction cups are 2 inches in diameter and will stick to most plastic and glass surfaces. Like most suction cups, they will stick even better if you get them a little damp before sticking.

Very clever, I currently use a sticky note on my tupperware for date I packaged the leftover or opened the can - but these are very cute.

Could these also go into the freezer and stay stuck? Love the idea of them.

Good question! I'll double-check on the answer and get back to you as soon as we know.

I can generally remember 3-5 days after I cook something, though I am getting older! Don't seem practical and don't think they would stick to most leftover recepticles

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs down!

This is an unnecessary use of plastic for something that is really not that hard to manage to start with.

kind of silly - also made in China

Emily

Seems like somwthing I'd use once or twice and then it would end up in the junk drawer.

Karen
Vote: Thumbs up!

Great idea! But I would probably need more than 3!

This is a good price for 3 items. You don't get much for $10 anymore, let alone 3 things. Plus, they seem pretty useful. I like it.

Diana

Right now, I tape freezer tape on the container with a date - this is much cuter!

Bronwyn
Vote: Thumbs down!

Great idea, just too bulky - wouldn't be able to stack tupperware or fit as much in the fridge (if applied to the side)

Laurel

This is such an awesome idea!! Wonderful wedding shower gift too! :)

Vicki

a waste of cabinet space

I am not sure I understand the need for this item. Just not something I would use.

Made in China.

I can find other uses for them too. Set important dates without needing a calendar, reminder dates; many uses.

Sue

The last thing I am going to buy is more China junk. Try getting products made here.

Suzanne
Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't want something "Made in China". I look forward to this site offering products that are Made in USA!

Rebecca
Vote: Thumbs up!

Not a bad idea! Would be better than my painters tape and sharpie system!

Annette

I think this would be really great for people who do their own canning. Knowing exactly when they opened that jar of jam, pickles, salsa, etc. I would find it less useful on leftovers since they're only good for a couple of days.

These are exactly what I need for home AND work, where we put our names and dates on any food put in the common refrigerator. If there were a way to engrave a name, initials, or write a name on these, they'd be perfect! As is, I want at least two sets, maybe three! I would buy them right now if they were available.

To me if something is of questionable age in the refrigerator- it is a NO. Seems like just one more thing to complicate clean up. But then again I am sort of a minimalist. But really, it's made in China so that makes it a define No - not necessary.

Kim

I don't keep enough old food in my fridge to warrant something like this and i'm not exactly sure what I would suction these to...

blake
Vote: Thumbs down!

I don't like that it is made in china, especially for your goods, and it seems like something that is a good idea, but in the end will only collect dust in the junk drawer

Pam

NO TO CHINA!!!

Ammaka
Vote: Thumbs down!

They just don't look very aesthetic. They look like someting you'd use in a machine shop.

jim
Vote: Thumbs down!

god idea, but it's really just more stuff from China.

Maria
Vote: Thumbs down!

I have a suction cup for my Garmin GPS, in cold and hot, it fails and falls off, suction cups don't work in extreme temperature.

Ginny
Vote: Thumbs down!

Made in China...buy American!!

Beth
Vote: Thumbs up!

Exactly what I need! I always spoil food and this would give me the right heads up when food is about to spoil.

Jo
Vote: Thumbs down!

A piece of masking tape and a marker does the exact same thing

Allison
Vote: Thumbs down!

made in china... no

Mary

Unnecessary as I and nearly everyone I know writes the date on foil or white adhesive tags.Nobody's life is THIS complicated, is it?

Leah

That is definitely a cool idea.

MJ

You get 3 but there isn't a place to specify which food it refers to. Husbands and kids would have to consult it before cooking something and I don't think they'd bother.

Nancy

CHINA?! Nope!
