This Board Makes the Cut.
Joseph Joseph's ingenious chopping board makes post prep cleanup a breeze. Nested beneath a vibrant polypropylene chopping board is a spacious pullout cubby that stays snapped in place until it's ready to be used. Instead of crowding their chopping board with both usable and unusable cuts of veggies, cooks can swipe scraps into this convenient tray, freeing up space without having to drag out the trash bin until the very last ingredient has been sufficiently sliced and diced. Stylish, sturdy and perfect for scraps of all sorts, this clever two-in-one tool even makes composting organic refuse like peels, stems and seeds easier than ever.
Polypropylene is a dishwasher-safe material and it's also an ideal surface for chopping since it acquires marks while it absorbs the pressure of the knife as you use it; this characteristic is highly beneficial and will keep knives sharp even after years of use. Made in China.

Would this combination cutting board/collector Erin found help you tame your trimmings, store your slices, and clear your countertop?

What would make this even better is if there was a removable divider in the pullout cubby. That would make it possible to store unusable bits in the top section

I love this idea but not sure I would pay $25. Would definitely buy it for around $15-$18.

It's not inconvenient to turn around and put scrapes in the garbage. You can always put them aside, till you are done chopping vegetables. Plus it's too small and expensive.

I like the idea but this board is too small. People cut themselves when they try to work on a space that is insufficient for the task.

Too small, too expensive, not practical.

I'll make better use of the money on something else. Sorry but this does no seem like a worthwhile purchase. Have you ever heard of using plates, bowls, pots or pans for putting your cuttings in?

How about a paper towel under the cutting board to catch the scraps?

I think this is an old product. Not much different than what I already have in my kitchen.

Sorry but this one is not necessary in my opinion. I love my bendable chopping surfaces and I just keep my little compost pail near and bend the chopping surface and all slides in. This product is too small and would slow me down. Sorry =(

Kinda neat, but I really don't see myself needing this; just swipe stuff periodically into the garbage or the disposal! Not that much extra effort IMO!
beverly
too small and too thick. I prefer my color coded flexible cutting boards.
