Pattern designer Jennifer Hill created vibrant, multi-layered illustrations of vacations she has never taken. Coined "Places I Have Never Been" her drawings of imaginary trips are produced only after a city's history, landmarks and culture have been passionately researched. Patterns have been dedicated to over 70 locations around the globe and have morphed into 4 different print series: City Prints, Map Prints, Landmark Prints and the Animal Alphabet.
Have a Capital Day
What better way to commemorate that red-letter day in a young couple's life than with this handsome, monogram art piece? Elegantly evoking the union of two individuals, it features silhouettes of the couple's home states at each side, while their shared initials and wedding year are brought together in the center. The image is further customizable with one of designer Jennifer Hill's eloquent visual themes. Her color pallets and patterns evoke vintage fabric and paper, and Hill has drawn her inspiration for them from shimmering aspen leaves (Breckenridge), rosy blooms (Cincinnati), bold geometries (Hamptons), and exotic tapestries (Istanbul). Each piece is a custom, archival inkjet print on acid free paper, and is available in an elegant, handmade frame with white mat board. Made in Boston, framed in Portland, OR.
