Handmade by Christine Olmsted in California from scrap copper and then dressed in painted unbleached cotton or reclaimed cotton sheets. Christine sews the clothing onto the copper figurines and then accessorizes with fun little charms and natural jute for hair. Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary.

Christine Olmsted
Christine Olmsted studied Environmental Design at the University of California, Davis, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. After various job experiences, Christine found herself living in Kyoto, Japan teaching English in the early 1990s. It was there she was inspired by the simplicity of form and the art of wrapping and tying. She also found her first pile of discarded copper wire and soon enough her women figures found life.
