crescent necklaceby Natasha Justice $74.00
- the story
Ornately designed and beautifully crafted, this earthenware pendant is a statement piece all on its own. Created by jewelry maker Natasha Justice, this ceramic crescent is hand shaped by the artist and pressed with broken metal jewelry to impress its mosaic design. The clay is then glazed and fired, creating a unique finish, and strung on a lustrous sterling silver chain as a one of a kind keepsake.

- the maker
Natasha has been making jewelry since she was a young girl. In 2002 she tried her hand at lamp working, and creating her own glass beads. In 2009 she did an independent study with a local pottery artist brushing up on her hand building skills. She made some ceramic pendants that she paired with gemstone beads. And now a majority of her work is hand crafted ceramic pieces that she sometimes pairs with different metals and leather.
Her passion is to design and create earthy and distinctive wearable works of art. She puts creativity and detail into each hand crafted ceramic piece used in her jewelry. Each clay piece maintains its own individuality through the glazing and firing process, enabling every customer to receive a one of a kind piece of work.
