A seamless blend of form and function, Danish designer Rikke Hagen's elegant rocking cognac glasses are perfect for novice and expert cognac connoisseurs alike.
The classic shape allows the hand to cup the glass, gently warming the cognac to enhance its bouquet. The balloon shape also amplifies the aromas of the cognac by creating a larger surface area within the glass. The small diameter of the top rim keeps the bouquet at the nose to provide the best possible sipping experience. And the base, looking much like a spinning top, provides an unexpected profile and a bit of playful movement to the classic drink.
When not in use as cognac glasses, these items make gorgeous table decorations as well. Simply add water and a single flower head to create a unique arrangement. Made in Turkey.

Rikke Hagen's background is in product design, glass and ceramics. She graduated from Danmarks Designskole in 1998. From 1998 to 2008 Rikke Hagen has owned a unique glass workshop, where she has produced her own limited editions in glass. See all creations.
