One Sweet Lamp

Cherries and raisins make for one sweet combination, in this lamp. The curved base is made of dark cherry wood and is topped off with a shade made of raisin maple, which lends to a speckled quality. Rugged and refined, the shade is paper thin and smooth, but still retains the natural feel of wood. Professional woodworker George Biersdorf creates lamps made entirely of wood that he collects and dries himself. He only uses Native American hardwoods that are not endangered. This lamp is intended for reading or room lighting and looks best when fully illuminated with a 150 watt bulb. Handmade in Maryland.
