All of Christine Street’s pieces–which possess a “playful spirit” and frequently feature uplifting iconography–are handmade in her solar-powered studio in Los Angeles using recycled metals. Though it can take her a while to settle on a concept that moves her, Christine says she is able to enter a “magical” phase of activity once inspiration strikes: “My last two collections were made in long overnights because I could not stop.”
