Joe Papendick

Joe Papendick was born in NYC in 1964 and studied art at Parsons School of Design and Hunter College before moving to St. Louis in 1993. Although primary concerns were always about painting, in 2005 he began designing and welding a series of large abstract bird feeders. Several hundred or so pieces later that work now occupies him full time.

It seems fitting that these rounded birdfeeders come from a place with a famous arch! This charming design is soldered by hand in St. Louis by Joe Papendick. Would you help your birds get a well-rounded diet with this creative piece?

Might be cute for someone living in a condo/apartment to hand from the balcony adding a burst of color.

The metal would get too hot in the Summer, although I don't know if that would both the birds; however, the metal in Northeastern OH during the Winter would get too cold and icy.
