Take a Seat
From designing rooms to dressing them, interior designer Denise Fiedler's attraction to the art of collage began when she stumbled upon a box of vintage books and newsprint in her attic. These ephemeral fragments of literature proved inspirational for Denise, who decided to transform her attic's forgotten library into art.
To construct these charming outlines of iconic seats, she carefully carves shapely silhouettes from the yellowing pages and she then assembles the cutouts into endearing pastiches that adeptly capture the design of each chair. These delightful depictions of some of the world's most famed pieces of furniture are bound to capture the hearts and speak to the passions design and literature lovers alike. Handmade in San Francisco, California.
