ceramic guitar pickby Harry Leaf $20.00
- the story
Ceramicist Harry Leaf celebrates the joy of music and sculpture in these bold, rhythmic picks. Each hand-glazed pick contains a pool of jewel-toned recycled glass. As a result of the firing process, these colorful puddles of post-consumer glass contain tiny fissures making each shard resemble a small, glimmering geode. The unfinished back of this guitar pick has an easy-to-grip texture, so it'll stay handy, regardless of the style you prefer to strum. All picks will vary in size and shape depending on how the recycled glass melts in the firing.
Handmade in San Francisco, CA.
Exclusively at UncommonGoods.
Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary slightly.

- the maker
San Francisco law student-turned-sculptor Harry Leaf earned his law degree in 1989 before asking himself "what was I thinking?" Leaf soon redirected his path to pursue his true passions: painting and sculpting.
Leaf sculpts touching and curious forms that inspire and delight, like his original Bunny On Couch sculptures, made to bring everyday art and humor into the lives of art lovers.
Leaf's glazing and design techniques have evolved over the years to include a variety of colored clay, finishes and firing temperatures--spinning new and unusual textures for exceptional new pieces.
Leaf's ceramics have been displayed in shops and galleries across the country and in the homes of collectors around the world. He hand-crafts and hand-glazes each piece in his San Francisco studio. collection
