Set your home aflutter with this beautiful ornament made from Tagua. This hand-carved butterfly uses both the natural woody exterior of the Tagua Nut as well as the creamy interior in order to create a lovely stylized piece whose wings mimic the lovely striations and spot patterns found on a real butterfly.
Crafted by artisans from the ProPueblo Foundation in Ecuador. By using only local natural sustainable materials - like the Tagua Nut which grows in the wild and no deforestation takes place in order to obtain it - ProPueblo is able to fulfill it's mission to provide sustainable income opportunities to impoverished areas in Ecuador.
