Cuddly Carry-Alls

Once upon a time, artists Jen List and Stacy Waddington stumbled upon a heap of unwanted sweaters and shirts. Finding their inspiration in the bright colors and soft textures of their retired materials, the pair decided to spin a yarn of their own by transforming the old fabrics into a line of new, snuggly, imaginative children's toys and accessories that encourage early learning and individual expression through creative design, wonder, and storytelling.

Whether she's going for a stroll around the park or a trip to grandma's house, your little lady will look sweet and stylish as she totes all her littlest treasures in these soft purses. These delightful pocketbooks are handmade out of hand-felted, 100% cashmere recycled sweaters that have been rescued and re-imagined as loyal pals that are just full of surprises. Little ones will love packing their bunny or puppy's favorite snacks along with a few of their tiniest belongings. A squishy, wool-felted pom-pom leash-like strap makes it easy for small fingers to keep a firm grip on their cuddly purse-meets-pet. Handmade in Flossmoor, Illinois.

The Bunny purse comes attached with a charming felt Carrot pom and the Poodle purse comes attached with a fuzzy felt bone pom.

Jen List & Stacy Waddington

Jennifer & Stacy met as preschool room mothers, sharing a love of children & artistic expression. With backgrounds in graphic arts & fashion merchandising, they were always looking for ways to share their creativity -- beyond the 4-year old audience -- and before long, seven smooches was born.

Working with little more than a sewing machine & bags of unwanted wool sweaters, the gorgeous tiny cardigans, hats, mittens & kimonos came to be. Upon the discovery of needle felting, cotton blankets were adorned with felty little animals & stars and beautiful handmade wool felt emerged as warm, comfy slippers.

Surrounded by the love & support of their husbands & families, as well as piles & piles of wool, Jen & Stacy hope you can share in some of the magic that has become... collection
