Isn't this the same info that will be in their baby books?! Besides don't most parents remember every detail about their child's birth. Not sure why you would need it on a pillow.

Love the idea! If we can know if it's shell is detachable and easy to clean, the $80 price tag will be worth it for preserving the special occasion.

I find the cost of "throw" pillows to be rediculously overpriced no matter what they have on them. It's only 2 squares and some stuffing that could be put together by anyone.

Cute, but only if they can come in custom colors. I do not plan on blue for boy/pink for girl color restrictions. Otherwise, great gift idea!

It's way too expensive and a little tacky. I'm just having a hard time thinking of who would like this or where you would put it... maybe in a baby's room, but cribs aren't supposed to have pillows.

Thanks for the feedback, Sarah! We think this pillow would look cute on a rocking chair in babies room, or even on display with other keepsakes (baby booties, favorite teddy bear) on a shelf. You could also use it as decoration in a crib, but it should be removed when the crib is in use.

Cute idea. Too expemsive for one pillow. Would be better looking if made in different styles and colors or could be custom done to match nursery colors. Then the price might be justified.

Thumbs up IF...it came in more sophisticateed colors like black and cream, the font was more stylized, maybe distressed. Pink and blue can only be used in a baby room for a couple years...and then what?? Also, too expensive! Love that it's handmade in New York though.

Too expensive for the size. You could have the same thing screen printed and sewn into a pillow for less than half. I do love the font though and the idea, but I wouldn't buy this.
