Maybe $20 to $25 would be better price for this...

Great product! I've heard that dryer lint is good for building nests.

how will it handle the elements - rain, etc? Is it glazed to protect it?

I love this product, but not for sourcing. Placed in a secure location, a bird would view this as a potential NEST (even without the materials added).

how big is it?

if you put up a birdhouse, are you obligated to furnish the nest too? seems like a silly item to be selling and buying

Have no idea what size this is. If I'm spending $30 to supply birds with nest-building material, I'd want this to be large enough to also serve as a decorative ornament in my tree.

I love the this depiction of a birdhouse, and the idea of being able to offer nesting materials to small birds. It sort of reminds me of something we'd see in a Dr. Seuss story. It will be a terrific addition to anyone's garden or trees to cater to birds.

Love this! I'll be one of the first to purchase it as soon as it goes on sale

As a bird feeder a good concept. I don't know if I want to provide more stuff to go out into the environment by putting this out for the birds. Why would I provide ribbon??

Really? I live on 80 acres, i dont think the birds need my help....

Neat idea. I wonder how big it is? I would not spend $30 unless it was of a substantial size.

Birds are very resourceful about getting nesting materials: I've been cat and dog fur show up in nests, and boy do they love the moss I use to line hanging baskets!

cute for spring

I've put out fibers and fur for the birds to "feather their nests" before, but it seems like they either blow away or are ignored. Seems like this would make it more likely to stay long enough for birds to get it and still be easy for them to pick up and remove. Meanwhile, it is something interesting for birds and humans to look at.

Maybe it is a bit to expensive and untraditional, which I know shouldn't be a problem for uncommon goods. The birds in my yard get along just fine without this.

Unique. I like it and would purchase for myself and as a gift.

Very cute idea! I usually toss laundry lint and pet hair in the yard - I like that this is a more aesthetically pleasing way to do that.

I didn't really like the look of it, initially, but it's grown on me. I LOVE the concept, though. :)

At first glance, its kind of cute. But the craftsmanship is really poor. In the bottom holes, they don't look finished- its rough looking at the clay inside. Also, I don't see birds making this into a home. Its just illogical and too expensive.

Even though I voted on several products, part of the fun in receiving Uncommon Goods catalog is seeing what new items you offer. I am a frequent shopper from UG and the voting reminds of the self check out lanes at the grocery store.
