When a great idea hits, sometimes you just have to write it down. This reclaimed bicycle inner tube bandolier helps you make sure you're never without a pen when inspiration strikes! Would you dress up your go-to journal or sketch pad with this ingenious accessory?

I think this is a great idea!

My son could use this-he's always got his notebook to sketch ideas or jot down a quick thought. Could they come in large size? I would be interested as well.

It would keep me from losing things (which I do a lot of...) and it's recycled!

this is trying to be too many things, for too many people's tastes

I can see this in different sizes, too.

While I get that it's designed to fit around a standard journal, I think it would make a much better gift if it actually came with a journal. I wouldn't want to give someone just the strap.

I'm having trouble deciding how much money I would spend on something that I could fashion from my own hair scrunchy... sorry.

About time somebody had an idea like this one!

It looks simple, but don't be fooled - the workmanship is great!

Gorgeous product and I love the fact that it's made from repurposed materials!

I've seen these in person, and they are very sturdy and well-made. The innertube rubber really grips your pens so they don't fall out. As far as this being an "I could make it myself" item, yeah, if you have a an industrial sewing machine and practice sewing rubber, it would be. For most people, no. And as far as being an incomplete gift without a journal--the folks I know who use notebooks would just regift a notebook I gave them, because they're using the notes in their own.

Would like it if it were adjustable. I have too many journals of different sizes to get an accessory that can only fit one.

make one to fit an ipad case - it would be great for holding my stylus!

Yes, yes, yes. You might want to have larger one as well, perhaps with pen

Useful and recycled!, so thumbs up. But not very attractive.

      Christine

I'd love to see different sizes, as this would be great for my children, but they use larger sketch pads.
