bamboo sunglasses - maui
- the story
Although their lenses might not be rose colored, it's hard not to be the perpetually happy-go-lucky optimist – or the life of the party, at the very least – when sporting these shades with vibrant teal frames handcrafted from rapidly renewable bamboo. Surprisingly lightweight yet durable considering their plant-based composition, these eco-friendly sunglasses sport a totally unique natural bamboo texture and detailed carvings on the temples. In this case, the teal coloring is a nod to the lushly vegetated, easy-going Hawaiian island.
Each pair comes with 1.1 polarized lenses, a cylindrical bamboo storage case, and microfiber pouch. Handmade in Zhejiang, China, near the source of the bamboo.
