A Spire Higher

The world is an enchanting place when seen through the lens of photographer Ashley Davis. Here, her camera seems to soar through the clouds where it glimpses an unexpected encounter between the iconic spire of New York’s Chrysler Building, and a rainbow-colored hot air balloon. The two are a study in contrasts. Are the art deco angles of the austere grey tower a danger to the cheerful curves of the balloon? Or is the building merely wishing that it, too, could fly? Available framed or unframed, the image is printed on photo lustre paper. Made in Fort Worth, Texas.
