We love that this kit lets you make the perfect decoration for a birthday or baby shower that can then be reused in a child's bedroom or playroom. What would you embroider on your felt banner?

This looks too time-consuming for me but I can see how others might have fun with it.

Kate

Super cute. The whole DIY movement is so hot right now I think they'd be a hit.

It's a great idea but the price would be a big factor in something I could buy at a craft store.

Nice idea, fairly simple to do, but it is hard to read the text when complete - perhaps choice of colors - to include most contrast?

Theresa

Cute, but too hard to read.

I'm neutral - I think they're adorable but can someone make them for me? Mine would never look that good I promise!

great gift

Might need to use different colors for the letter to make it easier to read. It took me a couple minutes to actually look at it and figure it out.

Adorable for either a baby shower or birthday. Could also possibly work for a bridal shower or wedding reception, depending on your colors.

Though I agree it is a bit difficult to read the text, this is a really great idea and definitely unique. Fun DIY for special occasions :)

Cute for those who are into crafts...it looks like the material could have more contrast though for ease of reading.

I just do not associate felt with a high quality gift or item. I have used felt with a multitude of crafts with kids thru the years. That is how I see it.

don't like the colors.

Definitely not my style. I know some that would love this idea though, if they didn't feel it was too time consuming. Seems most appropriate for a new baby - could work for a baby shower and then hang in the nursery.

I love this product! I would use this for my upcoming baby shower! I would love to be able to purchase this item which I hope will be available by November! It would make my sons shower the best!

Felting is getting too common

I think this is something that if you're going to take the time (and have the skill) to sew your own banner, you're not going to purchase a kit. The letters are too difficult to read given the contrast between the letters and the pennants. There is a scale issue so that the letters seem to be crammed onto the pennant.

I could see female college students using this during there Greek organizations!

Not my thing, but I can see how it would be fun for crafty-types!

I love the idea of DIY kits but this one too simple. It doesn't offer anything special enough to buy it here over the local craft store.

I know pink and blue like this scream "babies," but will there be any other colors? How would these colors work for Christmas (as your product story suggests)?

What other colors would you like to see?

Charming. Beats crepe paper and balloons. Reusable indefinitely for many occasions.

I could easily make these myself without having to buy it here and then pay for shipping

Jamie

Absolutely adorable! I love the bunting trend these days. Would hope the price wasn't prohibitive as you could buy these items at a local craft store easily enough.

Katina

Way to much work.

I like the general concept, but it looks very time consuming, and I think a lot of people who aren't crafty will bail on the project before it's complete. Also, it's really difficult to read. The white on the pastels doesn't seem to provide enough contrast.

While not very crafty myself, and not something that I would probably purchase myself, I could see this being a perfect present for a baby gift or something of that kind. Also, while I like the blue and pink themes, maybe it would be nice to have more gender neutral tones.

Anyone could do this on there own. No need to buy a kit. Plus you have enough to do for parties, who would want to make a homemade banner on top of it.

Stacie

Seems small in size.

i like that you can make it say whatever you want

Is it really necessary to pay someone to cut out triangles for you when you still have to do all the work? If you are going to the trouble to put the banner together and stitch on what you want it to say then you should just cut out your own fleece shapes and I am sure that it would be a lot cheaper. It just does not seem necessary to buy a kit when you do all the work yourself.

It is too hard to read.

I love to sew, and I love this idea! It gives people a way to personalize and celebrate any occasion!

Allison

Cost would be a big factor for me on this item. Felt and twine from a local craft store would achieve the same end result, probably less expensively than this kit. Also, I am not in favor of the colors used, as the pennant is rather hard to read when finished. This is a neat idea though, and a good way to encourage perhaps the less crafty folks to try their hand at creating an heirloom item for their little one.
