The idea is cute, but not practical. The opening to slide the baby's foot in is pretty loose. Any baby I have been around would have them kicked off as fast as you could put them on. I don't care for the tags either. I would have to say no on this one.

These fit really well and are soft soled, great for developing little feet. The Fortunes are stitched in VERY well and are definitely baby safe, although they can always be cut out if your prefer. Makes are really fun, unique, handmade Baby shower gift!

These things are completely adorable!!!! But my children would have had those tags slobbering wet in about 2 minutes flat. I would have liked to see some sealing around the bottom. My son would have pulled at the edges enough that it seems they would come apart.

These are absolutely adorable. Personally, I would love to own them as would many of my adult friends. But for infants? Not a good option. They probably won't stay on the baby's feet. Babies kick constantly and once they learn how to reach their feet, these booties will be thrown around the room, especially with the little fortune ribbon. Great idea, but make them bigger for adults!

Babies old enough to wear slippers(over three months) are usually kicking when not asleep. I would have had to duct tape these to my girls' feet, and bets would still be in favor of the foot gear landing some six feet or more from the point of departure. Socks are better, and even then their lasting more than ten minutes was iffy. No sale on these.

If they are for infants, then the booties will need to be designed higher so they won't fall off the little feet. Remember they do not walk yet so it'd be best if they were higher up to hold in place, in my opinion, unless they're going to be worn as slippers.

baby would want to pull at those tags immediately - these slippers wouldn't stay on for 5 minutes. They are cute though.

I'm an "aspiring" vegan. I work hard to choose products with little to no impact on the world or its living beings. I'm not perfect about this; the predominate reason being that I don't always have a choice. So, I think the shoes are absolutely adorable, but because they are fleece I would never consider purchasing them. Mostly you should know that I appreciate how Uncommon Goods promotes recycling, so I really want to than you for that.
