fun! And made in the USA! i can see it in a fruit basket on the table! Could be a bit less expensive, though. that's the only drawback. I think $25 would be more appropriate.

The only drawback is the price. I saw something similar a few years ago at the MFA gift shop Boston and have been looking for it ever since. Lower the price and I'll buy for myself and as gifts!

These shakers are handmade by Brooklyn Artist Daina Platais, who actually uses real avocados to mold each ceramic piece, making each unique! Daina is an independent product designer and artist, so the estimated cost factors in not only the materials she uses to handcraft these functional sculptures, but also the time and effort she puts into each piece.
