Spice Up Your Table Setting

Embrace the inherent beauty of the natural world with this herbaceous napkin ring set by Michael Michaud. Like the herbs from which these gorgeous accessories were cast, these stunning bronze accents embellish servings with a tasteful dash of organic essence. In this four-piece set, individual bouquets of sage, parsley, thyme and rosemary are grouped, meticulously cast in bronze, replicated in matte pewter, and given a golden patina revealing the impression of every leaf's minute vein, crease, and crevice. Every curved group of leaves is rendered with exceptional attention to detail, marrying dissimilar elements made by man and nature, and resulting in a table adornment possessing a wild, yet refined, aesthetic. Handcrafted in Long Island, New York.

Michael Michaud

Artist Michael Michaud was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Westport, Connecticut. He now resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with his wife and their three children.

Silver Seasons is the combination of Michael's exceptional knowledge of jewelry making and his love of nature. Starting as an apprentice mold cutter in 1973, Michael soon became a master precious metal caster and mold maker. In 1976, seeking even more knowledge, Michael moved on to the Rochester Institute of Technology's prestigious School for American Craftsmen. While studying under esteemed designers Hans Christenson and Gary Griffin, he mastered many of the techniques he uses today to capture the beauty and exquisite detail of nature in metal. After graduation in 1980, Michael returned to the jewelry manufacturing community and worked for some of America's leading jewelry designers.

In 1991, lucky enough to be living in the Connecticut countryside and working near New York City's flower district; Michael's love of nature began to combine with his love for jewelry. He began experimenting with the techniques that eventually launched the Silver Seasons collection in 1992.

"Nature's creations are the ultimate Art that fills our hearts with joy, warms our souls with promise and fuels our spirit with desire. My true inspiration to reflect this beauty in adornment is what my Art is all about."
