Armadillos may be native to the hotter parts of North and South America, but that doesn't mean you can't raise one of these armored charmers right in your front yard! Spanish for "little armored one," the armadillo is known for its tank-like hide that protects its from predators. Metalsmith VonChandler captures this elusive guarded critter and his rolly-polly appeal in his 2D patinated plate steel sculpture stake. Handmade by Von Chandler in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
