This is a nice idea, but if you look at the top of the pendant near the bail, the glass looks jagged and sharp. I'd be scared to wear it.

Lovely, simple. Would go with a lot. I would hope it's very delicate and would like it to be a bit tinier overall, though. Perhaps, if popular, consider a smaller size of this.

I don't care for the long silver shank that is deeply embedded into the glass and the top of the pendant looks jagged. The glass on top is too thin and looks susceptible to breakage.

I love this idea, but fragility would be a concern for me, too. Also, I think the delicate chain is complementary, but I would like to see it with a couple other styles (box, snake, etc). And, I'm with Jen on this one -the prices on the unique and interesting pieces I see on UG very rarely fit into my budget.

Before even reading the back story I fell in love with this peice. I knew exactly what it was. It is so simple and elegant that I would wear it with everything. I just worry that it may break off from the top. The color is spot on! Love it.

Just a thought-- I would need to know how fragile that drop is. If its borosilicate glass, then fine. Otherwise, I would be concerned about it.
