2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the New York chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the nation's premier professional design organization. To celebrate, this long-standing force behind the Big Apple's design scene asked 30 design luminaries to capture their experience with AIGA/NY in the form of a limited edition poster.
Triboro, made up of husband-and-wife team David Heasty and Stefanie Weigler, pay tribute to early 1980s movies like Tron and Blade Runner with their poster, explaining that "circa 1982 we were more focused on things like naptime and chocolate milk than design." Their studio excels both in building inspiring brands from the ground-up and in shepherding established brands into new territories. Triboro's partners have won numerous industry awards and their work has been featured in publications and exhibitions around the world. Made in New York City.
