2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the New York chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the nation's premier professional design organization. To celebrate, this long-standing force behind the Big Apple's design scene asked 30 design luminaries to capture their experience with AIGA/NY in the form of a limited edition poster.

Seymour Chwast, founding partner (along with Milton Glaser and Edward Sorel) of the celebrated The Pushpin Group (originally Push Pin Studios), imparts this colorful print with a spirited dose of his distinct, hand-drawn style. Often referred to as "the left-handed designer," Chwast's unique graphic design melds social commentary and a distinctive style of illustration. His designs and illustrations have been exhibited in major galleries and museums in the all over the world, he has been honored in the Art Directors Hall of Fame, and he's married to fellow designer and Pentagram partner Paula Scher. Made in New York City.
