2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the New York chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the nation's premier professional design organization. To celebrate, this long-standing force behind the Big Apple's design scene asked 30 design luminaries to capture their experience with AIGA/NY in the form of a limited edition poster.
Paula Scher, a principal at Pentagram, reinterprets and softens Glaser's iconic "I heart NY" identity in delicate, rose-petal pink. Scher creates images that speak to an audience with emotional impact and appeal. She has developed brand and identity systems, promotional materials, packaging, environmental graphics, and publication designs for a range of clients including the Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Opera, and the New York City Ballet. Made in New York City.
