Still Waters Run Deep

Gaze into a piece of agate, and you are looking back through time into an ancient pool of water. The ripples of color formed as water levels rose and fell within bubbles of cooled volcanic rock. Yet, when agate is discovered, it looks like an ordinary, rough boulder until it is split to reveal the beauty that has developed inside.

It's no surprise, then, that agate jewelry has been worn and treasured for centuries. It represents truth, since it reveals its hidden beauty from within an unassuming exterior. And, as the waters seem to rise and fall in our own lives, agate is thought to help the wearer embrace change.

These elegant agate necklaces heighten the natural beauty of the stone. Each one, with its unique pattern of colors and shapes, is drill mounted and suspended from a sterling silver chain. The agate comes from Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, and the necklace is made in the USA.
