Birthday gift for someone who carries water around in their car everyday. Glass is a better alternative to plastic...and with the Texas heat, safer.

This bottle is the perfect gift idea for my green conscious friends and family. Unfortunately, the glass is so thin, I was afraid it would break if used and it is so tall that if could be easily turned over. I was disappointed and had to return them.

I love the fact that this bottle is not made of plastic. I also like that it looks like a bottle that is. There is something very attractive, to me at least, about things that look like they are one thing but turn out not to be what you thought... fool the eye. The fact that this bottle can be refilled without leaching chemicals is a huge benefit. It's good for use on a bedside table. The only thing I can say against the bottle is that it is too tall. When filled with liquid it is a bit heavy. A slightly smaller version would be ideal.

I originally purchased this product because I was tired of constantly buying water bottles. When I first received it I was surprised at the simplicity of it and didn't know what to make of it...and then I used it. It is incredibly practical in its design. The opening for the mouth does not require you to purse your lips, which is something many women have come to dislike due to wrinkles forming later on in life. Even if I do not drink all the water in one sitting, it never tastes stale when I eventually finish drinking; even if I drink it the next day. The bottle does feel thin so I would recommend that you would hand wash it and not put it in the dishwasher. It's very easy to clean by hand and the extra work is definitely worth it.

The glass water bottle is attractive and can go right on the table if you're entertaining. It's also good for everyday use. But, it seems delicate. I haven't broken it yet, but I won't be surprised if I do.
