I love this idea... it's colorful & fun. However, the application I used it for did not turn out as planned. I keep my two dogs in my kitchen when I am at work. Instead of proping the door from the outside with a chair, I decided this doorstop would do the trick. Well, since I was attempting to keep the door closed instead of open (something I should have thought of sooner) not only did the dog chew up the part under the door... while in the chewing process, he managed to keep pushing until the door opened enough for him to get out. So, the good part is that I'm sure it works great when used "properly", and it is very durable under normal circumstances. The bad is that it didn't work for my needs and that's mostly my part because I didn't think it through (my MO). The ugly is that my dog chewed the edges and it's no longer cute.
