We enjoyed having one of these so much that we bought a second plus a couple more as housewarming and wedding gifts. It is attractive and extremely functional. We use it under round and rectangular serving dishes and because of its versatility we can even use one trivet to hold two small dishes. The only drawback we've found is the potential to pinch one's fingers when changing its' shape. But that does not deter us at all from enjoying this product.
