This is So cute. I have a 3 year old and an expensive, white table. I am relieved to now have a stylish, modern placemat to protect my table that fits in with my decor. I was seeking place mats that would be useful for my 3 year old and 1 y.o., while still being attractive in my dining room. These mats fit the bill perfectly. I like that they are grippy enough that they don't slide (although they are thin and flexible enough that they are easily lifted, if that's an issue). They are waterproof and easy to wipe off, and are thick enough that I am comfortable letting my son write on top of them while on our wood table. One thing that is not clear from the description is that they are transparent - you can see the wood grain through the silicone. It actually improves the look, in my opinion. I haven't noticed issues with staining, although I haven't tried pasta sauce yet. Overall, excellent style and quality!

I bought this placemat for my 14 month old son to use...he's still eating finger foods so we need protection for our wood table. I love the design and that it is more stylish than most things you can find at a baby store. My only drawback is that it is hard to pick up without the leftover food spilling out. But overall, I love it and have even thought about buying two!
