We bought one "Cosmo the Cow" as well as "Ernie the Elephant" 2 years ago when we were decorating our son's nursery. They're still in use today and have endured an overseas move in the meantime. I liked Cosmo so much that I just ordered another for our little girls nursery. It gives out a nice soft light - enough to change a diaper, read a book or just light up dark corners. It's not the most durable material, but as it is a PAPER lamp, you have to expect that it is a little fragile. I'm very pleased with the lamps, but have to say that I find "Cosmo" to be cuter of the 2.

My order arrived 7 days from the time I'd placed it. This was to a FPO address in Spain however. "Cosmo the Cow" unfortunately arrived damaged despite being packaged well. One wing was torn off completely and was ripped in another place and looked a little "worn". I'd ordered "Pinky the Pig" as well, which was in perfect condition and sent in the same box as "Cosmo". I used the live chat that same day and was helped by a very friendly and efficient cust. service rep. 6 days later I received a brand new replacement and didn't have to bother sending the damaged one back. Very pleased with the service I received - hard to come by these days...

My son loves his new Ernie the Elephant nightlight. It works great as a nightlight. He can even turn it on and off himself. Only downside is that it is delicate, so keep it out of reach of your toddler.

The product is great. However, this is the second I've had to buy. My Goddaughter -- aged one and a half -- ripped the face off of the first. It's not quite as sturdy as it looks. But she loved it so much, she had to have another and, so far, this one still has a face.

I bought the elephant lamp and gave it as a Christmas gift for a 1 year old boy. Parents liked it and will use as a soft "nite-light" in child's bedroom. One major concern was it is labeled with a sign "Contains Lead", which parents were concerned with, not sure if they'll keep it too long...otherwise VERY CUTE!!!
